Точки доступа Cisco Aironet 700 серии поддерживают одновременную работу в двух диапазонах 2,4 ГГц и 5 ГГц и улучшенную конструкцую антенны и радио. Согласованность передачи и приема данных в сети для оптимизации соотношения скорости и расстояния, управление радиоресурсами (RRM), возможность автоматического самовосстановления при возникновении проблем, связанных с непредсказуемостью радиочастот, способствует устранению «мертвых зон» и гарантирует высокую доступность клиентских подключений. Технология Cisco BandSelect улучшает клиентские подключения 5 ГГц в разнородных клиентских средах. Также, в устройствах Cisco Aironet 700 серии присутствуют передовые средства защиты, в том числе для обнаружения посторонних устройств, wIPS и обработки контекстных данных.
